Tomato Soup


Ingredents : 6 large ripe tomatoes, cut inta fours, 1 onion chopped finely, 1/2 piece of ginger {adrak} chopped finely, 3 cups of water, 1tsp salt 1tsp pepper, 1tsp butter, 1 tsp vermicelli {sewai}.

Method : Heat water in soucepan and add tomatoes, onion and ginger. Bring to boil and simmer for about an hour or so on low heat. Sieve the mixture and discard the residue. add to the soup liquid salt, pepper, suger and 1/2 tsp butter and bring to boil two minutes. Set aside. Fry vermicelli in balance 1/2 tsp butter, to light golden brown. Serve soup piping hot garnished with fried vermicelli.
